Strategi Capacity Building Widyaiswara dalam Mengoptimalkan Mutu Pelatihan: Analisis di Balai Diklat Keagamaan Surabaya
Abstract
Kompetensi Widyaiswara berperan penting dalam menunjang peningkatan mutu pelatihan, karena kualitas pelatihan sangat ditentukan oleh kompetensi teknis, manajerial, dan sosio kultural yang dimiliki oleh para Widyaiswara. Urgensi penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan untuk terus mengembangkan kompetensi Widyaiswara agar tetap relevan dengan dinamika pendidikan dan pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pengembangan kompetensi Widyaiswara yang diterapkan di Balai Diklat Keagamaan (BDK) Surabaya serta kontribusinya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelatihan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi untuk menggali data secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi Widyaiswara di BDK Surabaya tergolong sangat baik, yang ditunjukkan melalui tingginya tingkat kepuasan peserta pelatihan. Selain itu, pelatihan yang dilaksanakan memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta. Strategi pengembangan kompetensi yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan fungsional berjenjang, Training of Trainers (ToT), strategi diseminasi pengetahuan, kajian kitab bersama, inisiatif pengembangan diri melalui workshop atau seminar, serta dukungan penuh dari pimpinan lembaga.
