Abstract

This study examines the psychological well-being of maritime workers in relation to achieving a sustainable blue economy through a psychological capital perspective. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method based on literature studies, this study analyzes articles relevant scientific research . The results of the study indicate that maritime workers face significant challenges in the form of work stress, safety risks, and low intrinsic motivation due to a stressful work environment. However, the dimensions of psychological capital, which include hope, optimism, self-efficacy, and resilience, have been shown to improve workers' ability to cope with stress, maintain intrinsic motivation, and strengthen compliance with occupational safety standards. The integration of psychological capital into maritime human resource management policies not only improves workers' psychological well-being but also supports the maritime sector's contribution to a sustainable blue economy. Therefore , that is , strengthening psychological capital through intervention organization and policy strategic recommended as track innovative in support global development based on Maritime.
