Ethical Guideline for Proceedings Publication

The publication of an article in the Proceedings of International Conference on Da’wa and Communication is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the work quality of authors and institutions that supports them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific methods. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the editor, the reviewer, the publisher, and the society.

As the publisher of Proceedings of International Conference on Da’wa and Communication, the Da’wa and Communication Faculty (DCF) of the Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya collaborated with seven journals for editing and review processes and sharing publication. The journals are:

  1. IJMMU (International Journal of Multicultural and Multireligious Understanding)
  2. JKI (Jurnal Komunikasi Islam/Islamic Communication Journal)
  3. JBKI (Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam/Islamic Guidance and Counseling Journal).
  4. Analisa: Journal of Social Science and Religion (A-JSSR)
  5. Jurnal SMART: Studi Masyarakat, Religi, dan Tradisi (Journal of Social, Religion, and Tradition Studies)
  6. ISLAMICA: Jurnal Studi Keislaman (Islamicate Studies Journal)
  7. IKAT: The Indonesian Journal of Southeast Asian Studies

The DCF committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint, or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.
