Religiosity in the Novel Mamo-Zein by Said Ramadhan Al Bouthy

Abstract
This study aims to describe the value of religiosity in the novel Mamo-Zein by Said Ramadhan Al Bouthy, because it uses Charles Sanders Pierce's Semiotic Theory. Using a qualitative method, the results of this study found seven (7) religiosity values contained in the novel Mamo-Zein by Said Ramadhan Al Bouthy, namely: 1) Recognition of God's greatness; 2) Awareness that violence is not the only way to solve problems; 3) Awareness that God is the best Place to ask and rely on; 4) Prayer is a source of strength for Muslims; 5) Happiness in destiny; 6) Strong faith gives peace to life; 7) Death is the way of encounter with God.
