Al-Adab Al-Raqmī: Tren Baru Sastra Arab di Ruang Digital
Abstract
Arabic literature in the digital sphere reflects the phenomenon of technological development that influences the production, distribution, and consumption of Arabic literary works. In the digital era, Arabic literature is no longer limited to conventional forms; it has transformed through various media and digital platforms, increasingly integrating with what is known as artificial intelligence. The presence of Arabic literature in the digital realm has created new trends in its production, distribution, and consumption. This article discusses how these new trends have emerged and become prevalent among Arabic literary practitioners. It concludes that there are at least four new trends generated by the 'communication and adaptation' of Arabic literature in the digital space: the digitization of conventional Arabic literary works using digital tools; the tendency of Arabic writers to utilize digital devices for literary production; the use of digital tools as media for translation and language transfer; and the activities of appreciation and criticism of Arabic literary works through digital media.
