Implikatur dalam lagu daerah sebagai penguatan karakter bngsa
Abstract
The existence of regional songs in every province of Indonesia presents a deep message for society, especially the nation's next generation. These songs are designed with implied messages from the songwriters. This research seeks to examine several regional songs which contain implicature meanings and their representation in the development of national character. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data in the form of regional songs such as the Lir-ilir song from Central Java, Manuk Dadali from West Java, and Soleram from Riau. The results of the research show that based on its implicature, the song Lir-ilir shows the meaning of learning about national religiosity, while Manuk Dadali shows the meaning of a nationalist spirit, and Soleram shows the meaning of brotherhood. Every implicature in regional songs has an important role in strengthening national character
