Abstract

The type of match in a conversation sometimes has a different purpose. There are several types of dialogues that are commonly used in a conversation, including declarative, interrogative, and imperative.  A declarative is a sentence intended to state a thing or information, an interrogative is the sentence to obtain an answer or information and an imperative is an ordinance that aims to give orders, requests, or prohibitions to the speaker.  This research aims to find out the type of declarative, interrogative, and imperative matching in the Coffee House Podcast between Pras Teguh and Reza Rahadian. In this study, 86 conversational data were obtained, including descriptive declarative declaration type (10), evaluative declarative assessment type (21), assertive declaratory declaration kind (3), factual declarative assertion type (4), total interrogative interrogation type (13), partial interrogatory interrogating type (5), rhetorical interrogational interrogations type (4), confirmative intergation type (2), alternative interrogate type (3), tag interogation type (6), application imperative interruption type (5), person imperative transduction type (2), prohibited forbidden forbidding type (5), suggestion imperative forbidation type (1), recommendation imperative prohibition type (1) (1). The research method used is qualitative descriptive with conversational data between Pras Teguh and Reza Rahadian. As for the data source from the podcast video of HAS Creative, Podcast Warung Kopi, “Pwk-Dulu Dilempar Penghapus Sama Guru Sampe Memar, Kini Reza Rahadian Ingin Jadi Mendikbud!”
