Revitalisasi bahasa daerah melalui kreativitas cerita anak berbahasa Jawa sebagai bahan pembelajar di Yogyakarta

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the strengthening steps taken by the D.I. Yogyakarta Provincial Language Center in strengthening literacy in children and developing regional language book translation product materials on the online translation page (penjaring). This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. Data analysis techniques are carried out with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The subject of this study was Balai Bahasa D.I.Yogyakarta. The object of his research is a collection of Javanese children's stories from selected authors.

This collection of Javanese children's story writers is expected to meet the archive of materials used for language translators. The results of the study showed that in reviving regional languages and attracting children's reading interest, efforts were made to provide interesting reading materials through Javanese children's stories. Balai Bahasa Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta also utilizes story literacy as media translation material as a means of realizing introducing culture to Foreign Speakers (BIPA).
