Tiga Makam, Satu Legenda: Mitos 3 Makam Dewi Sekardadu dalam Konteks Sejarah

Abstract

This research discusses the 3 graves of Goddess Reni Sekardadu which are located in 3 different places, namely Sugio District, Lamongan. The second is in the Sunan Giri eating area, and the third is in Sawohan Village, Sidoarjo. The aim of this research is to discuss the myth of Dewi Sekardadu in a historical context, and how this narrative continues to live and develop today. Thus, understanding the Three Tombs will not only highlight historical aspects, but also the cultural and spiritual riches that are an integral part of the identity of the local community. Until now, it is not known for certain where the grave actually contains the body of Dewi Reni Sekardadu. The stories circulating are very varied, starting from Dewi Reni Sekardadu who was swept away while looking for her baby who was thrown into the river to the grave which local residents said was a move from a grave in Blambangan, Banyuwangi. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, namely using interview techniques, observation and literature studies related to the research being studied.
