Moral Problems of the Millennial Generation
Case Study of Murder and Wife Mutilation in Ciamis in the Perspective of Islamic Counseling Guidance
Abstract
Millennials who are more concerned with the favors of the world, thus neglecting their duties in the world. It is not easy to be grateful for what Allah has given. Becoming confused because they have to get a right that they want. Competing to win the pleasures of the world. But leave the obligation to worship. Confusion eventually hits more and more rapidly, becoming depressed because it does not find the right path. Emotions are easily ignited plus the behavior of people around who add to the burden of the mind. Despair becomes an option. And also venting to others becomes the next choice. This paper discusses the relationship between murder cases that occurred in Ciamis due to moral degradation in the perspective of Islamic counseling guidance. From the beginning, all problems should be directed to Allah SWT. Because the true place to return is only Allah SWT. If you do good things then you will be rewarded with goodness too. Vice versa, if you do bad things, you will eventually get bad things too. This paper uses a qualitative method by means of literature review from several journals and also reviews related to news about murder cases that are rampant in the millennial generation. The benefit of this paper is as a reminder to always worship and remember Allah in every condition. Especially for the millennial generation discussed in this paper. And also as a reading reference when you are in a moral problem.
